We have commenced our 3 month schedule of shooting. On Oct 8th we filmed on Phillip Island including the Nobbies, Penguin parade and the Koala conservation centre. The following week we set of to lakes entrance for the weekend. We filmed on Raymond Island on the Saturday which included an interview with James from Frecheville Heaney boatbuilders and Aaron got to have a spin in James speedboat. We filmed the Ferry, and then Lisa took us on a walk around the Koala track where we got up nice and close to some of the residents. Karen filmed the Glass centre with Gerry and got to have a go at making some earings. On Sunday we visited Fraser Island a beautiful Island retreat where you can take the Island over all to yourselves. Kirsty showed us around and the crew would love to come back and relax, but Richard keeps them moving on. All work and no play!On Tuesday 18th Oct, Aaron filmed a very small Island which we are keeping a little secret for a while.
On Saturday 22nd October Karen and Lisa filmed on French Island we met our friend Mick the park ranger and he took us round for the day. We went to the Chicory Kiln again to meet Lois, met Clive and Fay for a wild flower lesson and Lisa interviwed Peter at the vineyard and celler door.
November is a busy month for us filming around the Corner inlet, Phillip Island again and the iInland islands on the Murry around Mildura.
